This beet, açaí and pomegranate juice with spinach and coconut water is sweet and delicious, and loaded with nutrients and antioxidants to combat oxidation to the cells. This juice is also energizing, great for a detox, a fantastic immune-booster, and is wonderful for your liver.

I got this pomegranate juice recipe from Westin Fresh by The Juicery.

Westin made it so easy for me to eat healthy foods, workout, sleep peacefully, and stay relaxed and grounded during my hectic schedule. I ate so much incredible food, and was really impressed with the Westin SuperFoodsRX™ menu, with so many gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and healthy meal and beverage options.

Well, guess what? Things just got better! Westin now has a phenomenal juice and smoothie initiative. (The hotel of my dreams!) How perfect for my smoothies tour.

Westin Fresh By The Juicery

Westin has partnered with The Juicery (check out their juice bars and cafes in London and Toronto) to create Westin Fresh by The Juicery. This initiative is designed to offer incredible fresh juices and smoothies for guests to eat well during their stay.  And these aren’t your run-of-the-mill juices and smoothies that you might find at other hotels and restaurants! (You all know how particular I am about my drinks!) The Juicery has commissioned leaders in nutrition and integrative medicine to develop signature recipes that are nutritious, delicious, innovative, and right on the cutting edge of current food trends.

I was so excited when Westin sent me some juice and smoothie recipes to try. I fired up my juicer and blender and had a field day sampling all of the delectable offerings.

My Favorite Westin Juices:
  • Beet, Açaí, Pomegranate Juice
  • Spinach Juice and Coconut Water
  • Carrot Honeydew, and Turmeric Juice
  • Cucumber, Spinach, Romaine Juice
  • Lemon and Basil Juice with Coconut

Amazing Smoothies at Westin Hotels

My favorite smoothies on the Westin menu were:

  • almond milk, almond butter, banana, maca, and date smoothie
  • blueberry, açaí, banana, goji berry, and coconut water smoothie
  • cherry, basil, cacao, herbal tea, and date smoothie
  • lychee, banana, pineapple, and vanilla smoothie
  • berry, mint, rosewater, and almond milk smoothie

I want to head off on tour just for the drinks!

When you stay at a Westin hotel or resort you can order theses juices and smoothies from in-room dining for breakfast or in the restaurants on site. I’m guessing this program is going to be really popular, and will hopefully expand. Fingers crossed!

Beet, Açaí, Pomegranate Juice

This beet, açaí and pomegranate juice with spinach and coconut water is great for energy, detox, immunity, and is wonderful for your liver.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz (150g) raw purple beets, washed and scrubbed
  • 4 oz (33g) açaí berries or blueberries, washed
  • 4 oz (50g) pomegranate seeds or pitted cherries, washed
  • 4 oz (100g) baby spinach, washed
  • 4 fl oz (110ml) raw coconut water
  • 1 sprig fresh mint, plus more to taste

Instructions

  1. Push beetroot, spinach, acai, and pomegranate seeds through your juicer.

  2. Pour into a glass, stir through the coconut water, and garnish with mint.

  1. I love the Westin and their Heavenly Beds! Can’t wait to stay there again. Now if only they would create migraine-friendly recipes… a girl can dream. This recipe sounds amazing.

    1. How amazing are those heavenly beds! Scott and I are going to buy one. It wouldn’t surprise me if they had some migraine-friendly low-sodium recipes on their #EatWell menu soon. They are so progressive, and are always ahead of the curve.

  5. this looks wonderful, but I do have a question Are your dry ingredients weighed or measured? i.e.: is 4 oz half a cup or weighed? thx

  6. Your juice recipe sounds delicious. A bit of cinnamon can go a long way to help sweeten a juice, and I’d suggest adding some olive oil to help absorb some of the nutrients.

  7. Your juice fast recipes are simply divine Tess. I love potatoes & garlic so I’ll def test this out.Thank you for being a great inspiration. Juiced up a storm yesterday as we are on a 3 day cleanse/fast. Even my 4 year old asked for some of the El Cubano juice! (He’s not fasting though lol). Stayed at the Westin in Cape Town, totally blown away by their variety of smoothies at breakfast! I’ll be back there for sure. Keep it up!
