This easy BBQ sauce recipe from The Blender Girl cookbook is vegan and gluten-free, and takes less than 10 minutes to make in your blender.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (125ml) unfiltered apple juice
- 1/4 cup (60ml) pure maple syrup
- 1 (6oz/170g) can tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons blackstrap molasses
- 2 tablespoons wheat-free tamari
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon stone-ground mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/4 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic (1 clove)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Celtic sea salt, plus more to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon chile powder, plus more to taste
Instructions

Throw everything into your blender, and blast on high for 30 to 60 seconds, until smooth. Tweak the salt, pepper, and chile powder to taste.

Transfer to a bottle, and store in the fridge for up to 7 days.
