Aloe Vera Oil For Face

January 18, 2012

This aloe vera oil for face comes from Zaaina Skincare.

The products are so pure and natural, and Purvi has some amazing homemade beauty products.

This aloe vera moisturizing oil is really easy to make and is fantastic for the face.

You just throw all of the ingredients into your blender and slather on your body. I actually timed myself when I made it this morning, and I made it in under 2 minutes, and that included pulling all of the ingredients out of my fridge and measuring them! If you don’t have a blender, you can just shake the ingredients together in a jar.

I have multiplied Purvi’s original recipe by five in order to blend up a batch for the week. If you just want to try as little bit, divide the mixture by five and give the ingredients a good shake in a glass jar. This is perfect for one body application. But I am greedy so I like to make a lot in one big hit so I have it on hand when I need it.

I keep the mixture in the fridge in a glass jar and give it a good shake before I apply it. The oils will separate when left standing. But right after blending you should have a yellowy, milky white mixture that has a liquid oily consistency. You can also adjust the quantities of lavender oil, or use other essential oils of your choice. The sky’s the limit. I like to change it up every month to keep it interesting. Aloe vera is a natural preservative and vegetable glycerin does not easily oxidize. So, if you keep this mixture in the fridge, it will keep for up to 6 months.

I love applying natural oils like almond oil, sesame oil, avocado oil, and coconut oil on my skin. I like to mix that up too, in order to give my skin a surprise. This mixture is a fantastic homemade moisturizing oil for people with nut allergies. Plus you have the added benefit of the aloe vera juice, vegetable glycerin and jojoba oil, which is just sensational for the skin.

If you want to try a cream give my organic moisturizer a go! I make that every year with my girlfriends for Christmas presents, and I now have a list a mile long with people wanting some of it! Give it a go. It is amazing!
