Grapefruit Smoothie with Green Tea

This grapefruit smoothie with green tea has an exquisite complex flavor that is sweet and musky, and is fantastic for boosting metabolism for weight loss.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (180ml) brewed green tea, chilled (unsweetened)
  • 1 cup (240g) peeled and segmented ruby red grapefruit
  • 1 green apple, cored and quartered
  • 1 cup (40g) baby spinach
  • 1/2 medium avocado, pitted and peeled
  • 2 cups (320g) frozen pineapple
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (or cayenne pepper)

Instructions

  1. Throw all of the ingredients (including any boosters) into the blender jar of the KitchenAid® High Performance Blender. Blast on high for 30 to 60 seconds until smooth.
    Enjoy immediately for the best flavor profile.
