Turmeric Pineapple Popsicles

These turmeric pineapple juice popsicles are fantastic immune-boosting anti-inflammatory treats that are sweet and delicious, and also promote heart health.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium oranges, peeled
  • 1/4 pineapple, peeled
  • 1 (1 inch/2.5cm) piece turmeric root
  • 1 medium carrot, washed
  • 1/4 orange-fleshed sweet potato, peeled (optional)
  • Pinch of finely ground black pepper

substitutions:

  • orange (sub mandarin or tangelo)
  • pineapple (sub apple or pears)
  • turmeric (sub ginger)
  • carrot (sub butternut squash or pumpkin)
  • sweet potato (sub carrot, butternut squash, or pumpkin)

Instructions

  1. Push all ingredients through your juicer.

  2. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze overnight to enjoy the next day.
