Classic Frozen Daiquiri

This is the best frozen daiquiri recipe with a twist. I add lime zest, Cointreau, and pure maple syrup for some added zing, and it all just works!

Ingredients

  • 4 oz (1/2 cup) light rum, plus more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lime zest, plus more to taste
  • 4 oz (1/2 cup) fresh lime juice, plus more to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Cointreau plus more to taste
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup, (or coconut nectar), plus more to taste
  • 4 cups (500g) ice cubes
  • Lime skin spirals, to serve

Instructions

  1. Throw all of the ingredients except the lime spirals into your blender, and blast on high for 20 to 30 seconds until smooth and frosty. Serve immediately in glasses garnished with lime spirals.
